The LRG-V pneumatic ramming unit is engineered to deliver a long service life with exceptionally low operating costs. Featuring a design that is both lightweight and structurally reinforced in critical areas, the unit can be easily loaded using any standard truck crane. Prioritizing user safety and ergonomics, the LRG-V is designed for seamless, single-person setup and operation. The central control unit is strategically positioned on the feed frame, ensuring the operator maintains a safe, optimal distance from the pile hammer and post. Furthermore, to minimize wear and prevent damage, the system is equipped with a water separator and dual oilers.

Mechanically, the LRG-V is built for maximum efficiency and adaptability. Integrated gas pressure springs make transitioning the buckling mast from its transport position to its working position effortless. The unit boasts a robust lifting device with a 500kg capacity, providing ample power to operate the VR 100, VR 120, VR 150, and VR 275 pile hammer models. It is propelled by a powerful drive equipped with a toggle and compressed-air brake. For added on-site flexibility, the drive gear can be instantly disengaged with a single hand movement if the piling frame needs to be repositioned manually. A convenient feed hoisting device allows for smooth retraction and extension of the feed frame, which is then securely locked in place by four sturdy T-screws.

Safety, precision, and ease of handling remain paramount in the LRG-V’s design. An automatic safety flap provides fail-safe protection, preventing the pile hammer from falling in the unlikely event of a chain break. To guarantee precise alignments, the mast is fine-tuned using adjusting spindles positioned at 90° to one another and locked securely with locknuts to prevent shifting. Out of the box, the unit comes standard with an adjustable feeler gauge and a batten adjuster to ensure the exact, accurate ramming of posts. Finally, four securely welded clevises—along with an available wire rope suspension system—ensure safe and balanced loading and unloading on every job site.
